Snapchat was created seven years ago by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown, who were students at Stanford University. The project was born while they were working on their final project. The app proved to be wildly successful, but according to Spiegel they first failed on almost 34 projects before arriving on Snapchat.
